A Heritage of Hospitality Beneath the Oaks, on the Edge of the Old Ox Road

At Huvila Härkä, history and personal moments meet in the idyllic setting of a five‑hundred‑year‑old family farm.

The name Huvila Härkä (i.e. Villa Tauro) is both a geographical and an astrological play of meanings. We sit near the old Hämeen Härkätie, the historic Ox Road, and, by a happy coincidence, at the crossroads of Härkälä. In astrology, Taurus evokes gardens and traditions, good food and drink, and a grounded, steady way of life.

Here, in the spirit of that sign, we continue the innkeeping heritage that began on this estate in the late 18th century. We offer a place where travellers, wanderers, and café‑goers can pause, refresh themselves and enjoy a moment of ease along their journey.

Summer Café

Our summer café offers cakes, light savoury bites and licensed beverages, as well as a charming gift shop. Huvila Härkä accommodates up to 100 guests.

In our yard, every zodiac sign has its own parking place. Pets are welcome too, and our little dog bar offers fresh water for all pawed guests.

Enjoy your coffee in the warmth of the sun or in the soothing shade. Jupiter Agora comfortably hosts larger groups at its round tables, while the sheltered greenhouses invite you to linger over your cup, even when summer showers pass through.

Huvila Härkä is a delightful place to pause and refresh — perfect for lovers of horoscopes, cakes and light savoury treats.

The Lion Pavilion hosts table settings for 10–50 people. Visits last 1–1.5 hours and can include a guided tour of the park, offering something personal for everyone.

A Coffee Room for Each Zodiac Sign

Huvila Härkä’s Horoscope Park is full of things to explore: the Lion Pavilion, the Horoscope Hall, Little Italy, Christmas Street, the Interior Horoscope, the Time Gallery, horoscope dance floors, the Summer Horoscope. And each summer brings something new, with fresh atmospheres and unexpected sparks of inspiration.

Start your journey in the Horoscope Hall, housed in the old barn. Inside are six coffee rooms: Sagittarius, Capricorn, Pisces, Aries, Taurus and Gemini, each offering gentle guidance on relationships, aspirations, and ways of living. In the adjacent Lion Pavilion, you’ll discover the coffee rooms for Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Aquarius.
